Come join the FUN as we kick off another great season of the Valley Winds Music Association! The Tuesday, August 25, 2015 Soppy "Men-beer-ship" party from 7:30-9:30 pm at the Canmore Legion is not just for men. Both new and returning musicians (singers and/or instrumentalists) are welcome to socialize, perhaps do some impromptu singing/playing and, most importantly, register for VWMA. We offer a choir, big band, and concert band and you may choose to perform in more than one for no additional fee. We will have some computers and knowledgable helpers available for easy online registration with your choice of payment plan.
The Annual renewal fee remains the same as last year, with a discounted option for First Time Ever NEW VWMA musicians. Enrol now to save precious time at the first rehearsals from 7-9:30 pm (future ones at 7:30-9:30 pm). Our Choir begins Tuesday, Sep 1 at St. Michaels' Anglican Church. Tentative start dates for Big Band are on Wednesday, Sep 9 at CCHS Band Room, and Concert Band on Thursday, Sep 10 at CCHS Band Room. These are subject to change.
